We Create Blog Hop--Happy Holidays!!

Gosh! I kind of want to cry that December is here already! I love the holiday season, but this year has been so crazy that I am sad that this year has just disappeared before our eyes! I am hopefully optimistic for 2021, but I also believe that we are not quite out of the woods yet...

I hope that my project can help you with an easy way to decorate your home for the holidays! And honestly, you can even use cardstock or other paper you might have lying around in your stash (I see you, paper hoarders!!) I made these cute little trees with 3 different DSP patterns from the July-Dec mini catalog along with the Stitched Triangle dies from the Annual catalog. I used Feels Like Frost, Plaid Tidings and Brightly Gleaming DSP for these projects. These are so easy to put together, you could make a whole forest of fun paper trees for your holiday table or around your home.

Head on over to Kimberley to see how she is celebrating the holiday!

I wish you a wonderful, fun-filled holiday season, a very merry Christmas and an amazing 2021! (It's got to be better, right?)

We Create Blog Hop--You Go, Ghoul!

Hi everyone! I don't know about you, but I am still wondering where March went. Is it October already? I love decorating for Halloween (as much as one can love getting out all the boxes and going through all the crap I put back last year that I wasn't sure if I wanted to keep...) I have several decades worth of decorations that I seem to add to every year. Please tell me I am not the only one!! Anyway, I love to make fun decor items with my products because, really, we just have some of the best Designer Series Paper around! Like, it really can just be framed all by itself and it would look amazing! I used our Magic in the Night DSP (which is on sale this month!!) and the Playful Alphabet dies with the Foam Adhesive Sheets to make this fun framed art. The ghost is just an oval die with some small hole punches for the eyes. I also colored come rhinestones and linen thread with my Basic Black Stampin' Blend marker for some texture. Finally, a little touch of sparkle from the Black Glitter paper sets everything off nicely. It was a fun project and you could do a few of them to give to friends or family.

The blog hop continues to Kimberley! Make sure you leave nice comments, they are always appreciated.

As always, I am not ready for the cold and snow, but I love Autumn and sweater weather, I hope it stays for a while!

Enjoy!

We Create Blog Hop—Look Ma, No Stamps!

Stampin' Up! is known for their artistically designed stamps, but did you know you don't have to use stamps to make a fun card? I have used the Playful Alphabet, Stitched Rectangle Dies, Stitched Triangle Dies and the Tasteful Texture 3D embossing folder to make this fun shaker card--I am just loving these colors!

You'll definitely want to use the brand new Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine to make this card! It folds up to make more space for your more crafting supplies! Who doesn't want that?

If you are interested in purchasing your own Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, please contact me and I can help!

I can't wait for you to visit my blogging friends and see their projects--all done without stamps!

Up next, my bestie, Jeanna B.!

Happy Stamping!

We Create Blog Hop--Yummy!

I hope you are all enjoying the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog! I have so many products that I love and I try to pace myself (but we all know that doesn't work!!) The problem is that the new August to December Mini catalog goes live this Tuesday, Aug. 4 and there's so much to love in that catalog as well! Stay tuned!

This month's projects are focused on snacks and treats--who can say no to that? While I do love to bake, my work schedule makes it so there is not a lot of time to bake along with the subsequent clean up before it's time to turn in for the night. So when I need a quick treat for a neighbor or friend, the local Target is my go to for most of my favorite yummies.

I used the images from the Annual Catalog for my inspiration. You can find ideas for any project imaginable in our catalogs and I love to CASE (copy and share everything) the fantastically talented designers/artists at Stampin' Up!. I don't know how they keep coming up with these beautiful creations!
I used Playful Patterns DSP for all of these tags. I love the color combination as well as the patterns on each of the 6 x 6 sheets of paper. It is so much my style--bold colors and bold, playful patterns! Amazingly, all these patterns coordinate well together! No matter what you are celebrating, there is a pattern for it in this DSP pack.

On this one (who doesn't love some dark chocolate and salted caramel?) I used the Daisy Lane and some Pearls colored with coordinating Stampin' Blends. I also used the two Daisy punches as well as the Sprig punch.

This tag uses the Waterfront stamp set with more color Pearls, Stitched Shapes die and vellum and the Gold 3/8 Metallic-Edge ribbon colored with the Bermuda Bay Stampin' Blend marker. (More salted caramel, this time with milk chocolate!)

The last one uses the Stitched Shapes die as well as the Classic and Timeless Label punches and some 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon colored with Purple Posy Stampin' Blend. The stamp sets were Timeless Tulips and Dressed to Impress. A few extra colored Pearls add a little extra shine and texture. (Brownie M & M's? I mean, come on!!)

I was so grateful that when I went to Target, they had all of my favorites in the most perfect colors to coordinate with my planned DSP--can you say serendipity?

Well, on to the next friend in our hop, Cheryl! I know you'll enjoy her project. Don't forget to leave some comments! Everyone can use a little love!

Sending virtual hugs and wishing you lots of yummy treats in your future!

We Create Blog Hop--Mother May I?

Wow! What a year this month has been!! I am working from home most of the time but also going in occasionally to the office to make sure those still there have support staff to work with. I hope and pray all of my friends are doing well and that you are all managing through this pandemic.

I feel so blessed to work for a company who puts people first, employees, demonstrators, and customers...and also the global community! They have shared this amazing PDF that can be purchased and all the proceeds go towards 2 different organizations, and you get to choose which one you would like to donate to.  I used this PDF to make a few cards already (more to come) but I made this one for my mom, who I haven't seen other than through her front door (on her birthday) and in her car. It makes me sad that we can't be together, but it is important that we make sure to be careful around those in high risk groups so we can flatten the curve. I know I will get to give her a big hug really soon, but until then, this will have to do.

I used Basic Gray cardstock and our Nobel Peacock Specialty DSP, with a little butterfly from our Butterfly Gala set. With the digital image, I actually ran it through my Minc foil machine to get the foil on the image--I love it! You can get your own PDF by going to covid19.stampinup.com.  I'm sure you will find so many ways to use these great images for your friends and family.

Check out Kimberly's post next as well as all my other blog pals!

Wishing you all a happy and safe quarantine and hope you can hug your friends and family real soon!
